IIUI Aggregate Calculator 2026
BS on qualification: 40% SSC + 60% HSSC · With test: 15% + 25% + 60% test
Updated
The IIUI aggregate for most undergraduate programs = 40% SSC (Matric) + 60% HSSC (FSc), with no admission test. Where a test is mandatory, IIUI uses 15% SSC + 25% HSSC + 60% test. Example: 1000/1100 Matric and 950/1100 FSc give 88.18%. Source: IIUI Admission Policy, sections 1.6 and 1.8. Official source
| Part | Weight | Usual total marks |
|---|---|---|
| Matric / SSC | 40% | 1100 |
| FSc / HSSC (or Part-I if result awaited) | 60% | 1100 |
| Part | Weight | Usual total marks |
|---|---|---|
| Matric / SSC | 15% | 1100 |
| FSc / HSSC | 25% | 1100 |
| Admission test | Weight 60%; type your marks and the test total | 100 |
How is the IIUI aggregate calculated?
The International Islamic University, Islamabad sets its merit in its official Admission Policy. Most undergraduate programs have no admission test and admit on previous qualification (PQM) only:
| Program type | SSC (Matric) | HSSC (FSc) | Admission test |
|---|---|---|---|
| BS on previous qualification (policy 1.6) | 40% | 60% | None |
| BS with a mandatory test (policy 1.8) | 15% | 25% | 60% |
The test formula applies where the accreditation body (for example PEC for engineering or PBC for law) does not set its own weights. If your HSSC result is awaited, IIUI calculates merit on the marks you obtained in Part-I: enter those with a total of 550.
Worked example
| Part | Marks | Weight | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matric | 1000 / 1100 | 40% | 36.3636 |
| FSc | 950 / 1100 | 60% | 51.8182 |
| Aggregate | 100% | 88.18% |
With a 60/100 admission test the same marks give 13.64 + 21.59 + 36.00 = 71.23% on the test formula.
IIUI merit lists and closing merit
IIUI displays first, second and third merit lists program-wise on its website, separately for the male and female campuses. It does not publish a single closing-merit document we could verify, so this page shows the formula only. Compare with Punjab University on the PU merit list or use the PU aggregate calculator, which counts Matric very differently (one quarter of its marks).
Results are rounded as IIUI's policy says: 49.99% stays 49.99%, it is not rounded up to 50%.

Frequently asked questions
What is the IIUI merit formula?
For undergraduate programs admitted on previous qualification: SSC 40% and HSSC 60%. For programs with a mandatory test: SSC 15%, HSSC 25% and test 60%, unless an accreditation body sets other weights.
Is there an entry test for IIUI BS admission?
Not for most programs. IIUI's policy says there is no admission test at undergraduate level except where the accreditation body requires one, such as engineering or law.
Which FSc marks does IIUI use if my result is awaited?
IIUI calculates merit on the marks obtained in HSSC Part-I. Enter your Part-I marks with a total of 550.
Does IIUI round up percentages?
No. Its policy states that 49.99% is considered 49.99%, not 50%.
Does IIUI publish closing merit?
IIUI displays program-wise merit lists on its website for the male and female campuses but no single closing-merit document, so we do not show closing figures.
