Merit Predictor 2026: Which University Can You Get Into?

Your aggregate against the last two years of official closing merits, 306 programs

Updated

The merit predictor compares your aggregate with the higher of the last two official closing merits of each program. More than 1.5 points above is Strong, within 1.5 points is Borderline, and lower is Unlikely. In 2025, public MBBS in Punjab closed at 93.51% to 94.87% and PUCIT Computer Science at 87.18%. The merit predictor compares your aggregate with the official closing merits of the last two years for every program we have data for: MBBS and BDS colleges in Punjab (UHS), Punjab University, Karachi University and UET Taxila. Pick the university whose formula you used, enter your aggregate and see every program marked Strong, Borderline or Unlikely.

Each university uses its own formula, so use the aggregate you got from that university's calculator and pick the university below.

How does the merit predictor work?

For each program we take the closing merit, the aggregate of the last student admitted, from the latest official list of the last two years (open merit). The higher of the two years is the reference, so the prediction leans to the safe side. Then:

  • Strong: your aggregate is more than 1.5 points above the reference.
  • Borderline: within 1.5 points either side.
  • Unlikely: more than 1.5 points below.

The full rule is on our methodology page. Merit changes every year with seats, applicants and the test, so treat the result as a guide, not a promise.

Which aggregate should I enter?

Each university calculates merit with its own formula, so an MDCAT aggregate cannot be compared with a PU or UET figure. Work out your aggregate first, then pick the same university in the predictor:

Aggregates you calculate on this device appear as buttons at the top of the predictor, so one tap fills the right number. All calculators are listed on the aggregate calculators page and all closing lists on the merit lists page.

Frequently asked questions

Which university can I get with my aggregate?

Enter your aggregate in the merit predictor and pick the university whose formula you used. It lists every program where last year's closing merit was below, near or above your aggregate.

How accurate is the merit predictor?

It is a guide based on the last two years of official closing merits. Merit can rise or fall by a point or more each year, which is why results within 1.5 points are marked Borderline.

Can I use my MDCAT aggregate for PU or UET?

No. Each university has its own formula. Use the MDCAT aggregate for MBBS/BDS, the PU aggregate for Punjab University and the UET Taxila aggregate for UET Taxila.

What aggregate is needed for MBBS in a public college in Punjab?

In the final 2025 UHS list, public MBBS colleges closed between 93.51% and 94.87% on open merit.

Why are some universities missing from the predictor?

We only use official program-wise closing merits. NUST, COMSATS, FAST, NED and GIKI do not publish them online, so they have calculators but no predictor rows yet.

Mera aggregate 85% hai, kahan admission mil sakta hai?

Predictor mein 85 likhein aur university chunein. Woh har program dikhata hai jis ka pichhle saal ka closing merit aap ke aggregate se kam, qareeb ya zyada tha.

Merit predictor kaise kaam karta hai?

Yeh pichhle do saal ke official closing merit mein se zyada wala leta hai. Aap 1.5 se zyada upar hon to Strong, 1.5 ke andar Borderline, warna Unlikely.

Asaan alfaaz mein (Roman Urdu)

Merit predictor mein apna aggregate likhein aur woh university chunein jis ka formula aap ne use kiya. Phir har program ke saath Strong, Borderline ya Unlikely likha aa jata hai.

Har university ka formula alag hai, is liye pehle sahi calculator se aggregate nikalein, maslan MDCAT aggregate calculator ya PU aggregate calculator.
