UET Taxila Aggregate Calculator 2026
Official formula: 33% ECAT/TCAT + 50% FSc Part-I + 17% Matric
Updated
The UET Taxila aggregate for 2026 = 33% entry test (ECAT or TCAT) + 50% FSc Part-I + 17% Matric, per the university's admission rules. Example from the UET Taxila prospectus: 300/400 test, 500/550 FSc Part-I plus 20 Hafiz marks and 700/1100 Matric give 82.84%. Enter your marks below. Official source
| Part | Weight | Usual total marks |
|---|---|---|
| Entry test (ECAT / TCAT) | 33% | 400 |
| FSc Part-I (HSSC 1st year) | 50% | 550 |
| Matric / SSC | 17% | 1100 |
| Part | Weight | Usual total marks |
|---|---|---|
| FSc Part-I (HSSC 1st year) | 70% | 550 |
| Matric / SSC | 30% | 1100 |
How is the UET Taxila aggregate calculated?
UET Taxila ranks applicants for BSc Engineering and BS Computer Science by a weighted percentage: entry test (ECAT or TCAT) 33% + FSc Part-I (HSSC 1st year) 50% + Matric (SSC) 17%. The weights are listed on the university's admission eligibility page and in section 24.11 of the UG Prospectus 2025.
- Test share = entry test marks ÷ test total × 33
- FSc share = (FSc Part-I marks + Hafiz-e-Quran / NCC marks) ÷ Part-I total × 50
- Matric share = Matric marks ÷ Matric total × 17
The calculator starts with the totals UET Taxila's own calculator uses: test out of 400 and Matric out of 1100. FSc Part-I is usually out of 550; change it if your board's total is different. BS Mathematics and BS Physics have no entry test and use 70% FSc Part-I + 30% Matric (pick that formula in the box above).
Worked example from the prospectus
The prospectus gives this example: 300/400 in the entry test, 700/1100 in Matric, 500/550 in FSc Part-I, and a Hafiz-e-Quran certificate (+20 marks added to FSc).
| Part | Marks | Weight | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry test | 300 / 400 | 33% | 24.7500 |
| FSc Part-I + Hafiz | (500 + 20) / 550 | 50% | 47.2727 |
| Matric | 700 / 1100 | 17% | 10.8182 |
| Aggregate | 100% | 82.84% |
With 82.84%, this student was above every 2024 open-merit closing figure at UET Taxila, including Software Engineering (79.435%). See all programs on the UET Taxila merit list.
What aggregate do you need for UET Taxila?
For 2024 entry, the open-merit closing aggregates ran from 79.435% (Software Engineering) down to 53.071% (Environmental Engineering). Computer Science closed at 77.979% and Computer Engineering at 70.824%; most core engineering programs closed between 58% and 66%. These are last-admitted figures from the prospectus table "Merit Position Entry – 2024"; this year's merit depends on this year's applicants and seats.
Which FSc marks does UET Taxila use?
The merit formula uses FSc Part-I (first-year) marks, because Part-II results come after the merit lists start. Candidates with a DAE use their diploma marks in place of FSc, and the prospectus adds NCC and Hifz-e-Quran marks to the FSc part only for merit, never for eligibility.
