NUST Aggregate Calculator 2026

Official formula: 75% NET + 15% FSc Part-1 + 10% Matric

Updated

The NUST aggregate for 2026 = 75% NUST Entry Test (NET) + 15% HSSC Part-1 + 10% SSC (Matric), per NUST's merit generation criteria for NET-basis admission. A level students get 25% on O level equivalence instead. Example: 70% in NET, 480/550 in FSc Part-1 and 1000/1100 in Matric give 74.68%. Official source

How is the NUST aggregate calculated?

NUST's General Merit Generation Criteria for UG admission on NET basis give the weights:

NUST merit weights (NET basis)
PartWeight
NUST Entry Test (NET)75%
HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC / A level / equivalent / DAE15%
SSC / O level / equivalent10%

O/A level candidates who are in their final A level year get 25% on their O level equivalence marks (IBCC certificate) in place of the 10% + 15%. Pick "A level students" in the formula box for that case.

  • NET share = NET score % × 0.75
  • FSc share = FSc Part-1 marks ÷ Part-1 total × 15
  • Matric share = Matric marks ÷ Matric total × 10

Enter your NET result as a percentage. If your result shows marks, type the marks and change the total to your paper's total.

FSc Part-1480 / 55015%13.0909
Matric1000 / 110010%9.0909
Aggregate100%74.68%

NET carries three-quarters of the merit, so each NET percentage point adds 0.75 to your aggregate. Raising FSc Part-1 by 20 marks adds only about 0.55.

What is the NUST closing merit?

NUST publishes its closing merit as a merit position (your rank in the NUST merit list) for each programme, not as an aggregate percentage. Its "Closing Merit Positions" page says these positions are only a reference for choosing preferences and do not guarantee admission, because they change every year. We will add NUST closing merit positions from the official page once we have the full list.
