These are the closing merits of the private medical and dental colleges affiliated with the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), session 2025-26: the aggregate of the last candidate in the newest selection list NUMS has published for each college (the sixth MBBS list of 27 January 2026 and the fourth BDS list of 13 February 2026). NUMS does not say these were the last lists, so a later list could have closed a little lower.

How is the NUMS aggregate calculated?

NUMS colleges use the PM&DC formula: 50% MDCAT, 40% FSc and 10% Matric. Work yours out with the MDCAT aggregate calculator, then compare it with this table, or with the UHS Punjab MDCAT merit list for public and private colleges in Punjab.

Why are the NUMS merits lower than UHS public colleges?

These are private-sector colleges with higher fees, so fewer top scorers choose them; UHS public MBBS colleges closed between 93.51% and 94.87% in 2025. UHS private MBBS colleges, a closer comparison, closed between 61.00% and 90.84% in the 2025 final list.
