How is the UET Lahore aggregate calculated?
UET Lahore ranks applicants to ECAT-based programs by a weighted percentage set on page 19 of its Undergraduate Prospectus Spring 2026: entrance test (ECAT) 33% + first-year Intermediate (FSc Part-I) 50% + Matric 17%.
- ECAT share = ECAT marks ÷ 400 × 33
- FSc share = FSc Part-I marks ÷ Part-I total × 50
- Matric share = Matric marks ÷ 1100 × 17
Non-ECAT programs such as BBA and BBIT use 75% first-year Intermediate + 25% Matric (pick that formula above). Diploma (DAE) holders use 33% ECAT + 67% for first and second year together, which this calculator does not cover. The minimum aggregate for admission is 50%.

What aggregate do you need for UET Lahore?
In the Fall 2025 Fourth Merit List (A1 open merit, main campus), Computer Science closed at 85.83%, Computer Engineering at 81.56%, Electrical at 80.35% and Mechanical at 80.25%, while most science programs closed between 50% and 60%. Sub-campuses (KSK, Faisalabad, RCET Gujranwala, Narowal) closed lower. These are last-admitted figures; this year's merit depends on this year's applicants and seats.
What about the interview formula?
UET's admission portal also shows a "Merit Calculation" image with 20% entry test, 70% academics and 10% interview. It matches the interview-based Spring 2025 admission notice. The newer prospectus (Spring 2026) gives the 33/50/17 formula with no interview, so the calculator uses that. If UET announces a different formula for your session, follow UET's notice.
Hafiz-e-Quran and sports marks
A Hafiz-e-Quran can get 0 to 20 extra marks and a sportsperson up to 10 marks added to Intermediate marks, both decided by a UET verification committee after a test. Because the committee sets the number, the calculator leaves them out.
