BDS Merit List 2025 (Punjab Dental Colleges)

This page shows only BDS (dentistry) closing merit in Punjab: the 4 public dental colleges and the 18 private dental colleges that admit through the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, in the 2025-26 open-merit selection lists. Season status (checked 1 Nov 2026): MDCAT 2026 was held on 20 September 2026. UHS took 2026-27 public-sector MBBS applications from 16 to 30 October 2026; the provisional order of merit is due on 13 November and the first college-wise selection list on 17 November 2026 (BDS applications open 15 December). Public BDS closing merit 2025

All four public dental colleges closed within 0.05 points of each other in the 13th (final) list: de' Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore and Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan at 93.46%, Di-PMC Faisalabad at 93.43% and Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, Lahore at 93.42%. In the 1st list they closed between 94.33% and 94.58%, so merit fell by about 1 point (0.99 on average) over 13 lists.

In the 3rd private BDS list, the latest UHS published for 2025-26, the Dental Section of Sharif Medical & Dental College, Lahore closed highest at 73.13% and Shahida Islam Dental College, Lodhran lowest at 55.87%. 17 of the 18 colleges closed at or below 70%. Private BDS merit dropped by 16.08 points on average from the 1st list (where it ran from 88.12% to 75.00%) to the 3rd.

What aggregate do you need for BDS?

Public BDS seats use the same PMDC aggregate as MBBS: 50% MDCAT, 40% FSc and 10% Matric (formula explained); the minimum MDCAT score for BDS is lower than for MBBS (see MDCAT passing marks). Calculate yours with the MDCAT aggregate calculator. In 2025 a public BDS seat needed about 93.4% by the final list, while every private BDS college in the 3rd list closed below 74%.

When are the 2026-27 BDS lists?

UHS opens 2026-27 public BDS applications on 15 December 2026, with the provisional order of merit on 6 January 2027 and the first selection list on 11 January 2027, per its admission advertisement. Every date is on the UHS MBBS and BDS admission schedule.
